Inspiration Behind the Emily Design: I have always loved school, learning and working hard to earn my grade! I also love being active. This backpack is a throwback to my school girl days and a reminder to never stop learning as I now explore the beaches and trails of my new home.

Inspiration Behind the Lining: I left my hometown of nearly 50 years for the Virgin Islands on a journey to “find myself again.” People use maps to chart their course; to re-route when they get off course and to guide them along their journey to the goal of their final destination. The Caribbean has become my happy place; it is where I’ve found freedom to be “me” and chart my own course again on this journey called “life.” The Ola Kala Lining is a reminder to look within; dream big; take risks and set your course for your journey to finding serenity.
