Inspiration Behind the Elizabeth Design: Sometimes life gets messy and we have to ruffle our feathers and do what’s uncomfortable in order to find our happy place. This bag represents just that and the journey to finding my happy place; where I now let my hair down naturally and just go with whatever way the wind blows! This bag is named after my grandmother, who I love dearly and who left Germany after World War II for a new life in the United States.

Inspiration Behind the Lining: I left my hometown of nearly 50 years for the Virgin Islands on a journey to “find myself again.” People use maps to chart their course; to re-route when they get off course and to guide them along their journey to the goal of their final destination. The Caribbean has become my happy place; it is where I’ve found freedom to be “me” and chart my own course again on this journey called “life.” The Ola Kala Lining is a reminder to look within; dream big; take risks and set your course for your journey to finding serenity.
