Inspiration Behind the Eva Design: From the bamboo rings to the smaller size, the Eva is simply inspired by my island life! In addition, the raffia flap is the shape of a wave and a reminder to “ride the waves” of our journey through life!

Inspiration Behind the Lining: I left my hometown of nearly 50 years for the Virgin Islands on a journey to “find myself again.” People use maps to chart their course; to re-route when they get off course and to guide them along their journey to the goal of their final destination. The Caribbean has become my happy place; it is where I’ve found freedom to be “me” and chart my own course again on this journey called “life.” The Ola Kala Lining is a reminder to look within; dream big; take risks and set your course for your journey to finding serenity.
