Inspiration Behind the Bailey Design: This bag is a tribute to my oldest son, Bailey! I chose this specific type of leather for this bag because it reminds me of Legos and my boys spent their childhood putting bricks together every chance they got. Bailey is a computer engineer and this is the perfect bag for throwing in your computer or Ipad and traveling in style. I also chose these macrame’ handles as part of the design because Bailey was my “green thumb” in the house and kept my plants alive. It’s a creative design for one of the most innovative guys I know. I love you, Bailey!

Inspiration Behind the Lining: I left my hometown of nearly 50 years for the Virgin Islands on a journey to “find myself again.” People use maps to chart their course; to re-route when they get off course and to guide them along their journey to the goal of their final destination. The Caribbean has become my happy place; it is where I’ve found freedom to be “me” and chart my own course again on this journey called “life.” The Ola Kala Lining is a reminder to look within; dream big; take risks and set your course for your journey to finding serenity.
