Inspiration Behind the Bianca Design: This bag is inspired by the beauty of the Virgin Islands both inside and out. The full raffia exterior is a tribute to the beauty and life of the landscape and people on the island; while the Ola Kala logo (sand dollar) represents the beauty of the treasures that are found within the surrounding waters of the islands. The different sizes of bags is a tribute the VI and all of the islands in their various shapes and sizes.

Inspiration Behind the Lining: I left my hometown of nearly 50 years for the Virgin Islands on a journey to “find myself again.” People use maps to chart their course; to re-route when they get off course and to guide them along their journey to the goal of their final destination. The Caribbean has become my happy place; it is where I’ve found freedom to be “me” and chart my own course again on this journey called “life.” The Ola Kala Lining is a reminder to look within; dream big; take risks and set your course for your journey to finding serenity.
