Inspiration Behind the Brandyn Design: This bag is a tribute to my youngest son, Brandon!  I chose this specific type of leather for this bag because it reminds me of Legos and my boys spent their childhood putting bricks together every chance they got.  Brandon is a pilot and I designed this bag with the diagonal stripe as it reminds me of a runway.  I also chose the stripe because it reminds me of a dive flag and my boys and I completed our Open Water SCUBA certification together.  It was an achievement that we did together that I will never forget.  Brandon is so calm, collected and wise beyond his years.  I love you, Brandon!  Because the leather version was so popular, I also introduced the two new raffia versions in Navy/White and Beig. 

Inspiration Behind the Lining:  I left my hometown of nearly 50 years for the Virgin Islands on a journey to “find myself again.”  People use maps to chart their course; to re-route when they get off course and to guide them along their journey to the goal of their final destination. The Caribbean has become my happy place; it is where I’ve found freedom to be “me” and chart my own course again on this journey called “life.”   The Ola Kala Lining is a reminder to look within; dream big; take risks and set your course for your journey to finding serenity.
