Inspiration Behind the Poppy Design: The Poppy wristlet was designed to be multi-functional and use as a make-up bag or added pouch to many Ola Kala bags; yet chic enough to pull out and use as an accessory to dress up any occasion.  

Inspiration Behind the Lining: I left my hometown of nearly 50 years for the Virgin Islands on a journey to “find myself again.” People use maps to chart their course; to re-route when they get off course and to guide them along their journey to the goal of their final destination. The Caribbean has become my happy place; it is where I’ve found freedom to be “me” and chart my own course again on this journey called “life.” The Ola Kala Lining is a reminder to look within; dream big; take risks and set your course for your journey to finding serenity.
